RUSC Co-Ed recreational soccer leagues are an introductory program devoted to the enjoyment of the game and the development of players. In our recreational league, the emphasis is on fun, learning how to play the game, and developing life-long skills. Players should be free to make mistakes without feeling high-level pressure from coaches and parents to win.
Volunteer to Coach!
When you are signing your child up to play soccer, remember that none of this is possible without the wonderful volunteers we call coaches! We really are counting on parents to volunteer to help out as a coach - without coaches, we can not offer teams, it is that simple - we our a community based, non profit organization based on volunteer help, so we hope that you can help us out!
It is not a requirement for coaches to have previous playing or coaching experience to participate. We ask coaches to be positive role models for players and ensure the kids have fun. RUSC provides the necessary gear and provides training opportunities and lessons for coaches to have a fun and successful year. Many reluctant parents in the past have found out that it is not difficult to do and the smile on the kids faces prove that!

Buddy Requests

Please consider volunteering as a coach if you are making any buddy requests.
Weather:
Minnesota weather is unpredictable. We are hoping all snow will be gone by the start of our Spring Season. There however, is a chance that we would need to push back the start of our Spring program one week due to Minnesota Spring Weather. In this case, we will have our “makeup date” scheduled for Thursday, June 1st
